Nintendo can now make your console better when they choose, but they won't.

the Weather channel. Nintendo finally decided last month to have the weather channel display the current weather condition without having to open the actual channel and load it

Have you ever sat in-front of your Wii staring blankly at the Wii Menu and thought, "Gee, they could fix that damn channel limitation right now." or "Why do the + and - buttons work in some menus and not on others?"

Well, I have and sure, it's not nearly as annoying on an older system whereby the manufacturer had no possible way of making things better when the console was finally packed up after production and sent off to Wal-Mart or EB Games for the frenzied fanboys to smoke themselves over.

But now things are different. Nintendo can overhaul it's entire Wii operating system if needed. Setting aside some unknown variables that the public isn't aware of, the Wii console can be updated and changed at any time.

Not at complete fault, they've listened to the gamers and gave us a nod from time-to-time. One example: the Weather channel. Nintendo finally decided last month to have the weather channel display the current weather condition without having to open the actual channel and load it. My complaint with this: No temperature.

Some damning items aren't even a big fix.

Overall we can say the Wii is a success. Aside from a few things to rant about, and people getting all pissed about the graphic capabilities -- which we will dive into sooner or later -- the Wii just needs some tweaks.

The big question is, will they make changes to the World's fastest selling Next-Gen console when the Yen is rolling in?
